A swan comes crashing through the window of Dora the nurse. She is engaged to the milk post but while nursing the swan to health, falls in love with it and they fly away together
“The play is at once sad and funny and the audience can decide weather he looks at it as a modern fable about isolation and the urge for freedom or simply as the dream about the on and only love. María seals in this role of Dora that she is undeniably a fantastic and multi talented player. On the stage she has both charm and presence and in this she shows allot of dramatic strides taken with the humor bubbling underneath.” Auður Eydal DV 21.okt 1996
“María Ellingsen is growing very fast as an actress and has shown both on stage as the screen what she is capable of. The experience she has allows her to perform with remarkable ease and simpleness. She is always believable in the role and creates a strong effect at every turn.” Sveinn Haraldsson MBL
