A womens restroom at a bar becomes a refuge for the women who are out on the nightlife. The only man in the play drops in to look for his much to drunk friend. The play tackles myths about beauty, fashion, love, jeolosy and death. María played the fashion victim Maggý who ends up having a toilet drama.
“The icing on the cake for all the TV programs of Easter put together was the stage play Women scare. All the actors where great. Although María Ellingsen shone the brightest and seemed at times like she was going to eat the males alive. María had an excellent run and created a shining performance. The audience actually witnessed a star being born.” Indriði G. Þorsteinsson MBL
“María Elllingsen shows a new side to herself in the role of Maggý the bimbo. María is obviously a born comedian.“ Sveinn Haraldsson MBL
